"And finally, and this was the fourth show seen on one night at the end of a long Fringe, was American comedian/clown Daniel Forlano. Is this his real name - if so it's perfect, because as with the clowning tradition, he's a happy/sad chap in front of whome life throws many obstacles. But he is undaunted. His show is called A Glass of Wine and that is the end game, but to get it he has to overcome hurdles and reach new heights. He's quirky in the extreme, his brief bookends of stand-up more interesting than than the clowning tricks (which, don't get me wrong, are very entertaining.)"

"The New York Clown Theatre Festival at the Brick Theatre in Williamsburg gave us a wide assortment of clown styles-- all of very high caliber:
A GLASS OF WINE-- created and performed by Daniel Forlano, an enchanting, charming clown with great physical flexibility and perfected circus skills whose struggles to drink a glass of wine cause him to juggle, do hat tricks, balance on a ladder, and more, all with gymnastic plasticity and great charm.

"During intermission, Ward 5 City Councilor Alex Ghiselin said his favorite act was "Stitch," in which stuntman Daniel Forlano, a Hampshire College graduate, juggled 17 cardboard blocks in a gravity-defying comedy act."
